Tile Glue SALI White

Description:

SALI TILE ADHESIVE is a cement based tile glue for large ceramic wall and floor tiles interior or exterior application. SALI TILE ADHESIVE with superior flexibility and high grab to support even the heaviest of wall tiles.

Composition:

Consisting Portland cement, filler, fine graded sand and chemical additives containing high organic polymer content for better bonding.

Preparations:

Ensure that the surface to be applied is clean and free of foreign matter. Remove all loose particles, mould oil and other contaminations from the surface to be applied. Surface should be moisture with clean water and allow to evaporate completely.

Mixing:

SALI TILE ADHESIVE should be mix thoroughly with mechanical mixer or electrical hand stirrer in a clean container with approximately 25% water by weight. Add 5 liter clean water for 20 kg SALI TILE ADHESIVE. Mix up to getting uniform mix and should be allowed to stand for 5 – 10 minutes. After maturing stir again, no further water should be added. Mixed mortar should be used within 45 minutes.

Application:

Apply the mix up to thickness of 3- 5 mm with notched trowel to the prepared surface. Fix the tile on applied glue and press after leveling. Ensure that each tile surface completely contact with adhesives. Do not spread more than 1 Sq. meter at a time. Tile should not be fixed on dry or set tile glue. Leave for at-least 24 hours before grouting. To ensure even spacing, tile spacers of the required thickness are recommended. Clean tools and tile work with water while mortar is fresh.

Grouting:

Carefully attention must be paid to the grouting operation; otherwise satisfactory job will be seriously impaired. Grouting should not be used for at-least 2 days after completion of tiling. Use SALI TILE GROUT for better results.

Packaging:

SALI TILE ADHESIVE is packed in 20 kg and 25 kg plastic bags. Available as custom packaged to suit specific job requirements.

Storage:

Material should be stored in a dry covered area protected from elements. Unopened bags have a shelf of 12 months.

Safety Procedures:

Wear safety such as rubber gloves, dust mask and safety glasses used to handle conventional cement based products should be worn. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice accordingly. MSDS are available upon request.
