Product Overview - Terrascreed EX500 is a semi self-levelling floor compound suitable for interior and exterior use on concrete floors and screed prior to application of final floor finish such as ceramic tile, natural stone, etc. - The application thickness can vary, ranging from 5mm to 30mm. It can be used in balconies, garage floors, walkways, paths, patios, and other concrete surfaces with normal foot traffic. Properties - Levelling Compound - High Strength - Crack Resistant - Excellent adhesion Areas Of Use - Car parks, garage, and workshops - Paths, walkways, concrete floors & roofs - Residential and commercial buildings - Can be use for levelling existing concrete pavements, terrazzo, ceramic, or natural stone after a good surface preparation and priming. Application Method Surface Preparation - All surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from grease, laitance, oil, dust, paint and any other substance that may prevent or reduce adhesion. Priming - Apply one coat of Terrabond A solution (diluted with water 1:5 ratio) as a primer prior to application of Terrascreed EX500. - On extremely absorbent, porous surfaces or under extreme climatic conditions, apply 2-3 coats of primer. Mixing - Terrascreed EX500 is to be mixed in full bag quantity. Do not mix partial bags. - Each 25kg bag of Terrascreed EX500 is to be mixed with 3 – 3.5 liters of clean and cool water. Application - Pour the Terrascreed EX500 onto the prepared surface, then immediately spread it with a large metal trowel to aid in leveling and smoothing the surface. - A porcupine roller is then rolled through the laid material to remove air pockets - Terrascreed EX500 will flow out to find the correct level. - Corners and edges to work with trowel. - Terrascreed EX500 can be applied between 5mm to 30mm thickness depending on the requirements.
