Product Overview - Terrafix W11 is a versatile wall tile adhesive with excellent non-slump characteristics. It is both hydraulically and organically bound, guaranteeing good adhesion of the tile to the surface. - It complies with the requirements as per EN12004 and passes all tests required for C1T classified adhesives. Properties - Good adhesion - Non-slump - Easy workability - Water resistant Areas Of Use - Concrete swimming pools - Stable masonry substrates such as sand / cement render, precast concrete, etc. Application Method Surface Preparation: - Ensure that the surface to be covered is clean and free of foreign matter. - Absorbent and porous substrate should be wetted thoroughly with water prior to the application of Terrafix W11. - Dusting surfaces should be treated with a penetrating primer. Mixing: - Add about 7-7.5 litres of water to 25kg of Terrafix W11 and mix thoroughly to a thick and creamy consistency. Let it stand for 5 minutes, re-stir and apply. Application: - Apply Terrafix W11 in a layer approximately 3mm thick to the surface with the smooth side of a notched trowel. -Pull the trowel through the applied layer with the notched edge. - Push the tiles into place so that full adhesion is obtained. Fix tiles before the adhesive has surface dried. - Plan work accordingly. Prepared material must be used within 1 hour. - Clean tools and equipment with water after use. Spacing: - To ensure even spacing, tile spacers of the required thickness are recommended. Grouting - Refer to Terragrout data sheet for details. Expansion Joints - Expansion joints, when necessary, should be incorporated in the design stage.
