Terraco Flexiroof
Product Overview - Flexiroof is a premium one-pack, acrylic-based, fiber-reinforced flexible roof coating designed to deliver long-lasting waterproofing and superior weather resistance. - Flexiroof is infused with reinforcing fibers, enhancing its durability and flexibility even under extreme climatic conditions. Properties - Fibre reinforced - Enhanced tensile strength - High solar reflectivity - Excellent Crack Bridging - >100% Elongation - Very good flexibility - Breathable & Fast drying Areas Of Use - Concrete - Light weight concrete - Roof tiles, wood - Galvanized steel - Asphalt and cement sheets - Closed cell polyurethane foam roof insulation Application Method Surface Preparation - Ensure all dust, loose / flaking materials & foreign matter are brushed and scraped away from roof surfaces. - Ensure minimum slope of 1:75 to prevent water stagnation and to optimize drainage. Priming - For cementitious substrates, apply one coat of Terrabond A( diluted with water 1:3 ratio) as a primer coat - For metal and wood substrates, apply one coat of Terraco Terrabond AP201, using brush or roller along the entire sheeting, sheet overlaps, flashing corners and screw heads. Application - Apply one coat of Terraco Flexiroof using a brush, roller or spray. Allow to dry overnight - On the corners, joints & around pipes, apply one coat of Flexiroof coating and embed a layer of reinforcement mesh (should be embedded when the Terraco Flexiroof coating is wet). - Allow to dry for 6 hours. - Apply the second coat of Terraco Flexiroof coating in a perpendicular direction to first coat. - Don’t apply if rain is imminent as Terraco Flexiroof is not resistant to water until fully dry. - Not suitable for submerged areas.
