TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Sanitec manufacture acrylic Shower trays which conform to international standards using ISO grade acrylic sheet.
The unique ultra gloss sanitary ware grade acrylic sheet conforms to and meets British standards BS-7015. Shower tray conforms to BS-4305.
Acrylic Shower trays can withstand hot water temperature of 100 degree centigrade for a very short time only. But it is not advised to do so, because it will damage the texture and glazing in the long run. However shower trays can withstand temperature of up to 55°centigrade without any damage provided hot and cold water are mixed through the mixer and then discharged in to the shower tray.
Acrylic sheet thickness is 3mm
Fibre glass coating is not less than 3mm
Shower trays are reinforced and water proofed with fibre and resin mixture.
Total thickness of shower trays is, on an average 6mm
All shower trays are provide with protective film on the exposed side of the acrylic sheet, which should be only removed only after completing all work in the bathroom.
